Kings' Golf Course at Waikoloa Beach Golf Club, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Waikoloa, Hawaii. It is part of a 36 hole facility that includes the Beach Course at Waikoloa Beach Golf Club Resort.
Designed by former British Open champion Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, the Kings’ Course offers golfers the best of two worlds; golf in an island paradise, on a course that more closely resembles a layout along the coast of Scotland. But with stunning views of the towering volcanoes of the Big Island framed by palm trees and vibrant flowers, you’ll have no trouble remembering that you’re golfing in paradise. The 7,000-plus yard links-style course snakes over and around an ancient lava flow and is best known for its wide undulating fairways, multiple tee placements, and challenging pot bunkers. To complete the Scottish links experience there’s even a double green at holes 3 and 6. Par 72, 7074 yards, Slope: 135, Rating: 73.4
When first opened in 1990, the Kings' Course was ranked as one of the top new courses you can play by Golf Digest Magazine.

The King's course is challenging on two levels: Its Windy, and narrow at times. #4 is reachable, a great risk-reward opportunity, and a lot of fun. Try getting out early, say 7am, otherwise be ready for resort speed: S L O W..... A great grill awaits your day, really, and the staff is super. Price is great if you are a Hilton Grand Vacations owner.

Easier course than its Beach Course neighbor based on more open layout with less penal lava. However, I believe the lava views/ contrast with grass are more striking on the Kings Course. Numerous ways to get cheaper rates (stay at a member's condo, buy multiple round package through course, buy discount card) to make the course a good value for the island. Liked both Beach and Kings courses better than the 2 at Kona CC, but lacked in all areas compared to Mauna Lani. However, a round at Mauna Lani was almost 4 times what I paid to play Waikoloa Kings Course.

More challenging than the Beach course. But very playable. Pace of play in great in the morning. Get a discount before going to Hawaii, without it is very expensive. Can get windy. But its great in December low 65, high 82.

Better of the 2 Waikoloa courses. Nice layout and good condition. Played by myself and finished in a less than 4 hours.
